Rewild began with a field problem, not a marketing brief. Better predator-control tools should make the work easier for the people protecting native wildlife.
Why Rewild exists
Practical innovation should respect the people who carry and use it.
Founder Nick Jones brought product-development experience together with a practical understanding of trapping, the outdoors and conservation. The aim was to remove unnecessary friction from predator control. The Rewild K1 Kill Trap is the first expression of that idea: a physical product designed around carrying, setting, checking and servicing in real conservation programmes.
Designed from experience
Simpler setting, clear trap status and practical servicing are not decorative features. They shape whether field teams can work consistently and confidently. The founder story opens the door; documented evidence, customer results and the people using the K1 must earn long-term trust.
Built in rural Taranaki
New Zealand manufacturing keeps product development close to conservation reality. Rewild is building useful tools in Aotearoa with an international ambition, beginning with conservation programmes, volunteers, iwi organisations and technical teams closest to home.

Nick Jones
Managing Director and founder. Nick invented the K1 Trap. He brings 20 years of product-development experience together with a keen love of the outdoors and conservation.
Adrian Sole
Business Development Manager. Adrian brings more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and international business development. He focuses on partnerships, distribution and bringing predator-control solutions to markets around the world.
